what if you have what it takes?

I've often said in classes I teach, if you want the thing, you have to do the thing. If you want a yoga practice, you have to do the practices of yoga. And the funny thing is, the practices of yoga (all eight limbs) are not necessarily about doing the thing to get the thing, they are about being the thing to remember you already had the thing all along. The practices of yoga help us clean away the unhelpful thought and belief patterns that we hold about ourselves. It is a way to clean our Buddhi so the light of our Purusha can authentically come through our way of being. If you want to learn more about nurturing your authentic self, you can check out the recording of the Ayurveda for the Winter Blues session here.

What would be possible if you paused, and instead of automatically doing the thing to get the thing, you asked yourself, what if I already have what it takes? How would I move forward differently if I already had the thing? It is a curious practice with even more curious results that might surprise you 💙

Thank you for being you and all you do, Anjali Power Yoga is here because of each and every one of you and we are forever grateful 💙

with gratitude,
