do I need to REGISTER and sign up online before class or can I just walk in?

we asks that all guests register and sign up for class online through our website or the MindBody app before coming to class. this guarantees you a spot and helps us create ease with the check in process. If you wish to bring friend and pay for them, they will also need to register and create a profile for themselves. Class cards and memberships cannot be shared and we can transfer purchases you make to your friend’s account.

JUST HOW HOT IS IT?  

ALL OF OUR in studio CLASSES ARE HEATED and YOU WILL SWEAT!  WE KEEP THE ROOM IN THE upper 80s to lower 90s WITH HIGH HUMIDITY. HYDRATION IS KEY!  MAKE SURE TO BE MINDFUL OF FLUID INTAKE INCLUDING ELECTROLYTES STARTING THE DAY BEFORE you practice.

WHAT DO I NEED to bring?

For the time being, Anjali Power Yoga can no longer provide complimentary communal towels and mats. All guests need to bring their own yoga mat and towel. we do offer complimentary blocks and straps and encourage guests to bring their own as well, especially for the slow flow and restore classes. please remember to bring a reusable water bottle (if you forget we have cups) so you can fill up at our water station.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

anything you typically wear for physical exercise that allows you to move freely. Please Wear undergarments that provide full coverage when you are upside down and in movement.  

HOW DIFFICULT IS IT?

At Anjali power yoga, we practice from the baptiste power yoga journey into power sequence. the sequence (words and stick figures) can be found at the bottom of the Anjali power yoga away page. BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF, yoga is a practice, not a perfection, and IT TAKES TIME TO GET used to the sequence and heat. Will I RECEIVE hands on assists?

only if you choose to by placing an assist card on your mat with the yes option facing up.

can my child practice with me or at the studio by themselves?

Kids ages 11-13 are permitted to take a regularly scheduled adult class only with a Parent or Guardian present. Kids 14 years and up can take class without a parent or guardian.

What do I need to be mindful of regarding the studio space?

Our covid precautions can be found here and listed below are some other helpful tips about the space:

*PLEASE remember to SET CELL PHONES ON SILENT

*IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE FOR CLASS, PLEASE enter the studio and class quietly and connect with the teacher after class so they can get you checked in.

*if you are able, we encourage you to STAY UNTIL THE END OF CLASS. SAVASANA SEALS IN THE PRACTICE, ALLOWING THE NERVOUS SYSTEM TO REST AND REAP ALL THE BENEFITS OF THE PRACTICE.  IF YOU MUST LEAVE EARLY, LEAVE BEFORE SAVASANA BEGINS.
